Electric Vehicles Star at GreenFleet

Last week saw the return of GreenFleet to Scotland and Allied Electric took the opportunity to showcase a selection of its zero emission electric vehicles for sale.

Held on the 1st September at the Royal Highland Showground in Edinburgh, the show brings together fleet managers, heads of transport and vehicle manufacturers to showcase the latest fuel efficient, money saving initiatives in the fleet world in Scotland. 

Allied Electric Vans for Sale

Allied had three electric vehicles on display, the Peugeot ePartner electric van, Peugeot eExpert Tepee MPV and the Peugeot eExpert electric van.  The vehicles on display, in various shapes and sizes, allowed visitors to see that there are electric vans for sale to suit a variety of business needs. 

As the popularity of all electric rises, more and more of Allied’s electric vehicles for sale are being introduced into fleets of various public and private sector companies, as they try to make their fleets more fuel efficient and reduce their impact on the environment.

The Energy Saving Trust were also on hand to provide fuel efficient driver training.  The Trust estimates that most drivers can save up to two months’ worth of fuel each year after training.  A range of seminars were also ran throughout the day on the many aspects of fleet management, speakers included John Curtis from Transport Scotland and Ian Murdoch from the Energy Saving Trust.
