International interest in Allied Electric’s low carbon vehicle range continues to grow. This month the niche-vehicle manufacturer caused a stir in Sweden at the 16th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS), held in Stockholm.
The event offered a unique opportunity for companies from all around the world to demonstrate their expertise and high standards of achievement in the ITS field.
Allied Electric joined forces with Scottish Development International for the five-day event, to promote their commitment to lowering carbon emissions with their range of fully electric vehicles.
Allied’s Peugeot eExpert Tepee was on display at the event and was test driven by potential buyers from as far afield as Italy, Belgium, France and Malaysia.
Zero Emissions
Allied’s range of electric Peugeot vans and MPV’s are powered by an all-electric motor and lithium-ion battery, meaning no carbon emissions or pollutants are propelled when the vehicle is operating. With a range of 100 miles and top speed of 70mph, the eExpert Tepee is ideal as a city car and can have a positive impact in reducing local and global emissions.
Phenomenal
Steve Harris, Corporate Sales Manager with Allied Electric, said: “We were delighted to join the Scottish Development team to be part of the ITS conference this year. The eExpert Tepee was booked out every day by delegates from around the world. The positive response to our product was phenomenal.”
